About Paragraph Formula
I HATE IT! I HAVE NEVER HATED SOMETHING THIS MUCH BEFORE IN MY LIFE! AND TRUST ME I HAVE DONE QUITE A LOT OF HATING IN MY SHORT 16 YEARS. NO ONE HATES MORE THAN I DO. SO WHAT DOES THAT TELL YOU ABOUT HOW MUCH I HATE PARAGRAPH OUTLINES. THEY'RE FUTILE. I WOULD RATHER JUST JUST WRITE WHAT I THINK AND ORGANIZE IT LATER. OTHERWISE I FORGET WHAT I WANNA SAY AND I EFFING HATE OUTLINES. ALL OF THEM. PARAGRAPH OUTLINES, NOTE OUTLINES, ESSAY OUTLINES. THEY STINKETH AND THE FIRST PERSON THAT THOUGHT OF THEM SHOULD DIE OF GHONNOREA. (sp?)
About blogging.
I guess this whole blogging thing isn't so bad. I like messing around on the internet, and i love to write, so i guess this is all cool. Ah.....i appear to be at a loss for words about this particular topic, but i do have a lot to say about the other assigned blog, so i'll get to that one. Catch you on the flip side!

“The Lottery” was a story that we had to read in class which I did like because of Shirley Jackson’s writing style, how she explored the dark sides of human nature, and if you look deep enough into the story you’ll see that she is challenging stereotypes. So her writing style is really awesome because of how she would foreshadow which builds a sense of suspense and thrill. The little black box was a very suspicious item, when normally you wouldn’t think much of a small black box, Shirley Jackson makes you wonder why it was so untaken care of and what its contents hold. Humans are devilish creatures, but it hardly ever brought to light like the whole community killing an innocent every year. The fact that makes killing people even more morbid is because the members of the town thinks that it is totally okay to do so, which makes you wonder about the inter workings of their minds. Finally, but possibly the most important thing to me, is that she is challenging the stereotype that it is always a man to die. Honestly, think of every story, or even things in history, who is always exempt? The woman and children were the first to be allowed off the boat on the Titanic, and in every fairy tale no one will ever hurt the beautiful chick, but in “The Lottery” Tessie gets bludgeoned to death by some big frigging rocks. So why did I like this demented story you may ask. I’ll restate it again. I liked the way Jackson put ideas into words, and explored humanities’ closet full of skeletons, and fighting generalizations.

Landyn Robert Massey was born on December 9th, 2007, and he is my baby brother. He had a rough start when he was first born. He was staeadily losing weight, and we all joked that he was an "Ethiopian Baby". Now he is all good with plenty of meat on his bones. I immediatly fell in love with him, and he canalways make my day. I know, total cliche, but it's the truth.
After my father, I was the first to hold Landyn after his C-section birth. He was so small and had red marks all over his body. Mo and I had to laugh, convinced that they were the proof of us giving him "stimulation" when he was still inside. Eventually the red smudges on his skin all went away. Well, all but one that still remains on his right butcheek! Believe me. I know. I've changed a few more pooey diapers than I would have liked to.
Even though his diapers were really yucky, I don't mind it too much, and that's just because of who he is. I have a few specific memories that make me smile. One being of the time we took the picture of Landyn which I'm using to write this essay. Mo had just bought some Aviator sunglasses and thought that it would be humorous to put them on Landyn. Instead of ripping them off, as we had predicted, he left them on, and smiled big for the camera.
I'm smiling as I write of these memories, but the next one makes me smile even bigger. I had been watching Landyn through the night, but had to leave in the morning so I handed the playful baby to Jared. I got ready to go and decided to check on them before leaving. What I saw made a grin spread from ear to ear. Landyn and Jared both lay sleeping in a bed. Jared had a protective arm around Landyn's waist, and Landyn laid a heavy head on Jared's chest.
But I still have one more memory to tell you about. As I sat at the computer I saw both my dad and with Landyn in arms emerge from the bathroom dripping wet. Dad had a large gray towel wrapped around his waist and Landyn had an identicle looking, but smaller, one around his. I melted with laughter and adoration.
Landyn means so much to me, even if I don't always express it. I know that it was corny, but that's my essay!

What do you know? What do you say?
Hey hey hey!
How are y'all doing today? I just have a few quick life changing questions for you.
1) Are you allergic to butter?
2)What size of shoe do you wear?
3)Do you prefer French speaking countries or Spanish speaking countries?
4)Define the words: Prep, jock, emo, freak, loner, stoner......you get it.
5)How often do you think that labeling people is accurate?
Kay last question..........
6) If life ain't just a joke then why are we laughing?
May MCR live on forever. Even when the world as we know it is dead, let there be an old C.D. player with enough battery power to play one last song.
